Sergiu Vazdautan

I'm a Solution Architect and software engineer with nearly 20 years of experience building and evolving enterprise systems across pharmaceuticals, banking and e-commerce.

I started my career as a software engineer and have since moved through technical leadership into solution architecture. I still enjoy getting close to the technology and working with engineers to solve complex problems. At Galenica, I work across four engineering teams, where I define target architectures, lead technical POCs, review architectural decisions and work with engineering teams, business stakeholders and implementation partners.

More recently, I've been working increasingly with AI, and I had the chance to work on the implementation of interesting AI solutions. My technical background includes Java, distributed systems, microservices, GCP and Azure, as well as large-scale e-commerce and banking platforms.

I particularly enjoy situations where the problem isn't fully defined yet: understanding what the business actually needs, exploring the technology, building a solution and helping teams get it into production.
